Thursday Lovelies - Books

In the past, I have enjoyed reading for leasure, but I never really had the time because I was either too tired, working too much, or studying for school. Since June 2010, I have renewed my reading enjoyment. I have read over 50 - yes over 50 - books!  These are a few of the books and series that I have really liked.

Well, those are some of the novels and series that I have read.
Do you see a theme with some of them?

I am so excited, my husband was sweet and got me a Barnes and Noble NOOK for Valentine's Day!
Right now I am just trying to figure out how the thing works.

And what was my first eBook purchase?

Water for Elephants

I haven't started reading it yet, because I am right smack-dab in the middle of All Souls Night, but as soon as I am done with it, that will be the first eBook I experience.
I am so excited!

There are a lot more books that I am planning to read and very glad that I will not have to carry around 2-3 books any longer. Only problem is that I will now have to make or buy some bigger purses.
BONUS!!!

What types of books do you enjoy reading?
XOXO

Water For Elephants in a great book! You'll be done with it in a day or less. I'm currently working my way through the Harry Potter series again before the last movie comes out. I had to get the 2nd book from the library. Do you remember that agreement? I bought the first book and you bought the 2nd book and we were going to share? Also - Do I still owe you the 4th book that Stuart took a bite out of?? :)
Love you and love your bloggy sista'!

You know I love all things reading related. ;o) And I like to think I read a lot but WOW--50 books in less than a year!!!! Great job! And yes, I do sense a theme in what you like . . . I think I would have problems sleeping if I was reading that genre. ;o)

I've been reading a lot more non-fiction lately. I find it holds my attention better! I'm pretty impressed by how much you've read :)
