Why Does it Have to Be So Difficult?

It is that time again.

Yes, I am in dire need of a trim to my "meh" looking locks.

I am not going to go short, however I am toying with the idea of getting bangs cut.

I have been growing my hair for quite some time now and want to keep the length, but I am feeling like my style is pretty "blah". It needs some pizzaz (and color, but that is a totally different story).

Here are the options I am looking at...

Mine isn't quite this long, but the bang is the focus here.

I'd say mine is closer to this length.

Focus people...think BANGS!!!  ;)

I am having a hair dilema.

It is that time of year for me to change up the color to make it more "fall/winter".

However, I am having a tough time with what I want to do.

I know I want to go darker (more my natural color), but I also want to maybe add some dark auburn to it.

In addition, I think I want to cut it...

No, not hack it off, but make it more manageable.

I like this look, maybe not so red.

I don't care for this cut though...not really a bangs person.

I kind of like the color of this gal's hair (purple included)!

Not sure I can pull of the "severe" bangs though.

At least it would still be somewhat longer.

I just feel like I need a younger look...not sure this one will do it for me though.

I looked "everywhere" on the net, but I just couldn't find a good photo of a hair color that I LOVED.

Guess it will be in the hands of my stylist tomorrow.

He always does an awesome job, so I am not too worried. The color is up to him!

Stupid Hair!

I am seriously about ready to take a scissors to my own hair!

Do you ever have those days when you are doing your hair and nothing goes right?

That is what happened to me today!

I have styled my hair like this before, but today it took me over an hour - a freaking hour!

It looks like crap, but I don't care, I put a flower in it to cover up the really bad spots and came to work anyway. I was so frustrated!

Just look at that mess!

YES, I am almost 33 and have gray hair! A LOT of it!

Thank goodness I have an appointment with my stylist next week.

I liked having my short hair, I never had issues like this! With short hair, the style was meant to be messy and so I didn't care. On me, longer hair cannot be messy looking, otherwise it makes it look like I got out of bed and didn't bother combing my hair.

I love French braids though, but you can't French braid short hair.

I love pony tails too, but you can't pull short hair back into a pony tail!

Messy buns! Oh my goodness, I miss being able to pull my hair up into a messy bun.

Absolutely frustrated!

Nope, but I got your attention!

Under normal circumstances, I absolutely LOVE my hair, but sadly that so-called love has slightly diminished.  I have recently made the decision to grow out my hair from a "short" cut.  Sadly, it is at a stage that I hate!  That in-between stage...  I can't pull it back into a pony tail, yet I cannot style it the way I would prefer to.  Growing out shorter hair is truely a pain-in-the-neck!

This is how long it was before I got it cut.

Now, I am anxious to grow it out even longer than that.

The waiting part is what I H-A-T-E the most!
